Day 14 – Physical Activity = Good Stress

“Exercise should be a stress relieving not a stress provoking activity.”

I believe that statement is easier said then done!  Exercise itself is stress relieving, but when I don’t actually participate in physical activity, my stress levels rise.

The absence of exercise is stressful. For me at least. Anyone else?

Exercise naturally stresses the body. And when you’re pregnant, it stresses the fetus. Both in positive ways. If your body was never stressed, it would never change. It would never adapt. It would never grow more stable & stronger. Small amounts of planned stress throughout pregnancy help prepare your body and baby’s body for one major stressful event, birth!

It’s proven that babies of mother’s who exercise adapt to life outside the womb easier, are more calm, and are not stressed as easy. Yes!
