Robust + Worship + 2016
Hey lovely,
For the past 3 years, I’ve marinated on feelings I want to feel in the upcoming year. Have you tried this practice? No ‘goal setting’ B.S. I set the intention to feel feelings because that’s what goals are based on, feeling a certain way. So cut out the middle ‘goal’ man and figure out how you want to feel!
A lot of how I process is based on the teachings of Danielle Laporte. Check her out if you don’t know about her existence, she’s quite magnificent.
I knew 2015 was going to be one hell of a ride and the feelings that bubbled to the surface to guide me in December 2014 were ‘Sacred Courage’ and ‘Bounty’.
How do I “find” these words you might be asking yourself? Good question. Reflection, journaling, meditating, slowing down, listening, breathing, opening, desire. Here’s a great document with questions to ponder and write about. Dare to see what comes through for you! It will help immensely when you’re looking at what you want to create, do, feel in 2016!
What’s my 2016 feeling?
Ohhhh yeaahhhh….Robust Worship. It feels powerful yet tender. Compassionate yet motivating. It’s sparkly like the picture to go along with it.
Robust: vigorous, rugged, tough, healthy
Worship: reverence, adoration, glorify, praise
All I want to do, say, create, breathe is rugged glorification for myself and the women of Rochester and the world. I want to praise those who are fighting the good fight and help the ones that need a hand.
Other supporting words: Glory, Honor and Warrior.
My anthem for 2016 is:
Robust Worship means vigorously glorifying the magnificence in your life. It’s a call to bow down in honor of who you are and what you’re evolving into. With great courage, you’re taking a stand for love. You’re a brave fighter for health and vigor. Robust Worship is learning to build a thick skin of perseverance to walk through the fire for deeper glory. You desire to light up brilliantly in a world that casts heavy shadows of fear and doubt.
How do you want to feel in 2016? What will it help you achieve? Do you have your own anthem?
Love love,
Colleen
