‘Pregnant Women’ is the Kid Picked Last in Gym Class

I look at life like gym class and ‘pregnant women’ were the last kid picked for the team. It’s some bullshit.

In the culture of fitness, in the world of empowerment, the humans that give life to our species are disrespected and underserved. I’m a feminist. I believe women should harness their incredible powers to live a glorious life. It’s also because I want to heal the wounded masculine in women AND men for more peace, cooperation and love. This is the journey I went through to heal my wounded masculine (a woman who leans more toward the physical, high energy, force, ‘grind’). It’s taken me a few years (and the journey continues) to accept and welcome more feminine qualities that were present in me, laying dormant and untapped. Oh the power once I welcomed them into the light!!

Too much anger, stress, hate is caused by our societies lack of acceptance and teaching of both: strength, reason, decisiveness, risk (masculine) and selfless, patience, structure, empathy (feminine). As humans, as athletes, we’re stronger when we live from a place of both.

Whatever the true reason for my passion, I don’t fight it, I fight with it to create the change I want to see in the world of women and procreation.

Do you find you lean toward more masculine or more feminine qualities? The image below is a great visual for pondering and question asking.

You might wonder, “What’s the next step if I figure out I’m totally masculine/feminine?” Start writing down what you believe about yourself and if those beliefs are true. For me, a belief I had was, “I have to do it ALL myself to get it done.” This is not true. My ‘job’ is to put appropriate work in, grind a little bit and a) ask for help and b) trust that my effort is supported and will further my journey. Letting go of this belief allowed me to enjoy my work on a deeper level, gave me more time to explore, read, learn, move. Life felt lighter.

Have fun with this and don’t be afraid to go into the deep dark to pull out beliefs that are holding you back or not allowing you to grow bigger! The challenge is what allows us to grow, you know this. And always, contact me if you need support.
